How time flies! It's been 50 years since DHS, 46 years since Purdue graduation, 45 years since I married Janet Mead, 40 years since graduation from Loyola, and 29 years running my own business, Schick Professional Search. Three children and five grandchildren later, you look back and realize how much water has gone over the dam!

Since I have my own business and it's done entirely by te3lephone, I can work either here or in Virginia and I've continued to do so. In Ohio I enjoy woodworking and have recently gotten into woodturning. The lake, of course is another thing. The water sports are fabulous!

We plan to continue the back and forth trips to Virginia and look forward to doing more traveling around the country. Rex Schick.
I was born in Dixon, IL., but attended school at two country schools in Ogle County until graduation from 8th grade. I entered Dixon High School as a freshman, ( scared to death ) as I diden't know anybody.

After graduation I worked at KSB hospital, and Belcher Nursing Home for several years. I studied at a tech school and worked at USF&G for a year working as a keypunch operator.

Paul and I were married May 2, 1964 and moved to Tulsa, Okla., while Paul studied for his Masters degree in Petroleum Engineering. After Paul graduated, we moved to Findlay, Ohio where our 3 other daughter were born, the first daughter was born in Tulsa, Okla.

After 10 years in Findlay we had our first foreign assignment to Tripoli, Libya. We lived there four years, then moved to London, Eng. where we lived for 3 and 1/2 years. We packed our bags and moved to Jakarta Indonesia. We lived in Jakarta for about 7 and 1/2 years, and had two daughters graduate from the Jakarta International School. The girls left to attend college in the states at Goucher, in Maryland, and Monmouth college in Illinois.

While we were living abroad, we had the fortune to travel the world with the children and loved every minute. We were able to see Leptus and Sabratha Roman ruins in N. Africa, skiing in Austria, and Switzerland, attended Royal Ascot in England, and participating in the grand opening of Maxims at the Henley Regatta in N. England.

While living in S.E. Asia, we traveled to most of the Asia, and toured Corrigador, and snorted in the Truk Lagoon. We have been lucky to travel with the whole family on the Orient Express from Bangkok to Singapore, and the Orient Express from Vienna to London.

I have worked for many volunteer groups around the world, and now I work for the Dixon Riverfront as the Executive Manager.
I play golf, and have been in a lot of tournaments, playing good, and so-so.

We travelede a lot, but we enjoyed every bit of it. We met a lot of people and saw first hand how people around the world work, and live. Kay Johns Miller.
Graduated from N.I.U. Taught Special Ed. at Dixon State School and in Antioch, Illinois. Three beautiful daughters, 6 grandsons, and 1 granddaughter.

Married to Dennis for 49 years. Worked for the Iowa Association of Elementary, Middle and Secondary School Principals for many years. Retired now, but have 13 piano students. Also teach (as a volunteer) accelerated third graders in math and "words". Paula Watters Johnson
